Senior Pastor

Bruce Farr is the founder and Senior Pastor of Overcoming Church.  Having accepted the Lord at the age of fifteen, it was soon evident that there was a special call upon his life.

In December of 1992, he responded to that call and established Overcoming Church.

Proclaiming the un-compromised Word of God, along with power and demonstration has been Pastor Farr's focus.  His style of teaching and preaching challenges listener's to mature and become Overcomer’s in deed.  Pastor Farr operates under an apostolic and deliverance mantle that establishes imparts and equips the body of Christ for the 21st century.

Under his visionary leadership, Overcoming church has established several outreach ministries that touch the community at large.

Holding a Bachelors degree in Administration, Pastor Bruce Farr is actively involved in the Martindale Brightwood Community and currently serves as President of CRP (Community resurrection Partnership).  Fulfilling the call to ministry has afforded him opportunities to touch and impact the lives of many.

Pastor Farr is a strong family man, married to Loretta for over 27 years, and father of two sons, Benjamin and Daniel.

He believes that in order for the church to be on the "cutting-edge", we must stay relevant, receptive and ready for the ever-changing move of God.

Executive Pastor

Lady Loretta Farr serves along side of her husband as Executive Pastor of Overcoming Church.  She is a mother of two in the natural Benjamin and Daniel and hundreds in Spirit. 

Lady Farr is a woman of God focused and assured of her end-time purpose!  She walks softly but she is a warrior in the spirit. With a heart for the word of God, she teaches and preaches under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. 

Holding a Bachelors degree in Management and fulfilling 12 years in the Banking industry, Lady Farr is no stranger to hard work in which she translates over into the ministry.  She has a noticeable passion for God, family and for her vocation; one can readily see her untiring commitment towards excellence.

Lady Farr is the visionary/director of Heart2Heart Women’s Ministry which is designed to impact the lives of women and to equip them to become all that they are destined to be in Christ.

Called to nurture and touch the lives of teen girls and young adult women, she established Daughters of the Heart a mentoring program and is the founder of Esther’s Court an organization that ministers preparatory skill development and biblical instruction on becoming a Godly woman.
  
Pastor Loretta is happily married to the love of her life and best friend, Bruce Farr.
